Admissions
Looking for a small, close-knit campus filled with incredible, hands-on learning opportunities? Our Admissions Office can help make Elmira College YOUR place.
Diversify your education and learn about Criminal Justice, Biochemistry, and Forensic Science as part of this four-year dual degree program.
Criminal Science is a double major program bringing together Criminal Justice and Biochemistry, with a minor in Forensic Science, that will provide you with many opportunities in the legal, criminal justice, forensic, and science fields. The program is designed to be completed in four years.
Through our cross-disciplinary Criminal Science program, you will become well-versed in fields ranging from evidence and criminal law to medicinal chemistry, toxicology, and analytical chemistry. You'll be able to use a variety of chemical and biochemical tools in our laboratories and as you embark on research with faculty members.
You will be prepared for a variety of employment opportunities, or you can continue on to graduate school, law school, or medical school. Past graduates have gone on to work for employers such as Pfizer, the Rhode Island Department of Health, and many higher learning institutions.
